The main duty of this position is cleaning of the hotel in a timely and organized manner according to hotel standards and procedures.
This person will also help with the cleanliness of the common areas.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities ? Cleaning hotel linens and towels.
? Dusting furniture and vacuuming floors.
? Stock housekeeping closets and guest rooms.
? Cross-train as a room attendant.
? Perform aspects of hotel or conference room cleaning.
? Support team to reach common goals.
? Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
? Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
? For those working in a lead or inspector role, additional duties include:
? Provide leadership and instruction; Keep management apprised of overall operations.
? Inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
? Inventory of all linen and ordering of linens / amenities.
? Refer and provide information to higher level manager/supervisor regarding issues or concerns; and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands/Work Environment The Support Services position involves working in a hotel/conference center environment.
Must be able to perform physical work of operating laundry and floor cleaning equipment.
Must be able to lift 25lb.
Education - Skills - Expectations ? High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required ? Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning position preferred but not required ? Ability to perform the physical duties required of the job Job Type:
